Pittsburgh International Airport Ambassadors are volunteers from the community who donate their time to provide courteous and friendly assistance and provide a warm welcome to visitors.
Ambassador Escort Program
Airport Ambassadors are available to assist inexperienced passengers who may have concerns about the traveling experience. They can also meet arriving passengers at their gate and accompany them to the Landside Terminal. The Ambassador Escort service is free of charge. To request an Ambassador, please call the Ambassador Hotline at (412) 472-5690.
*Ambassadors do not assist passengers with any medical assistance needs or unaccompanied minor. Passengers requiring this type of assistance must request wheelchair service or other assistance directly through the airline when booking the flight .

||Flight Desk Kiosks
The Flight Desk kiosk is a system that allows travelers to check themselves in with participating airlines and print their own boarding pass. To use the kiosk, passengers select their airline from the list of participating carriers using a touch screen menu. Once the airline’s check-in system is visible, passengers can follow the instructions on the touch screen to bring up their reservation and print out their boarding pass. Once they have their boarding pass, passengers can proceed directly to the security checkpoint. Passengers with bags that need to be checked will still need to visit their airline’s ticket counter.

Located at both the Landside and Airside Terminals, the Customer Service Representatives at the Information Desk are happy to answer any general questions about the airport.

||Military and Family Courtesy Center
Located just past Gate A4, the Military & Family Courtesy Center at Pittsburgh International Airport provides a respite from the busy travel scene for members of the military and their families. Active and retired members of the United States Military are welcome to visit this special room to pass the time while waiting for rides and flights. The Military & Family Courtesy Center provides work stations, a spot to watch television, and an area to spend time with family. The center also provides light snacks, and active members of the military are eligible for gift certificates to the Pittsburgh International Airport AIRMALL under the Serve-A-Soldier program.
If you forgot to mail that birthday card, need to send an important document, or want to prepare for your big meeting by having everything there for your arrival, visit our post office and make sure it arrives on time.
These luggage carts are a must if you have several heavy bags to carry.

Travelex allows travelers to exchange currency, buy travel insurance, transfer money, buy traveler’s checks and money orders and offers several other business services.
