The Airport ID Badge office is located on the baggage claim level of the Landside Terminal, near Baggage Claim “P.”

Effective July 27, 2015 the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has directed that airports must complete every two years a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for all individuals with Airport-issued Security IDs. This recurrent CHRC requires the re-fingerprinting or re-submittal of fingerprints stored with the Transportation Security Clearinghouse and transmittal of those to the FBI. In most cases, the fingerprint check will be managed through the Security ID Badge Office, although for domestic air carriers, the TSA allows the airport to accept, and we will accept, an airline's notification form that they have submitted fingerprints for each individual being rebadged and that those individuals have no disqualifying crimes.

Employees needing to review only the SIDA Security Video should arrive 1.5 hours prior to closing.

Employees with driving privileges should arrive 2.5 hours prior to closing.

All applicants for an Airport ID must present Identity and work authorization documents when applying or renewing their badge:

Non-US Citizens must present their Alien Registration Card OR foreign passport along with their I-94/visa control number.
US Citizens, who were born abroad, must present their passport OR a Certificate of Naturalization OR a Certification of Birth Abroad, form DS-1350.

There is a $55.00 fee for the fingerprinting process, payable by Cash, Money Order, VISA or Master Charge / Debit Cards, or Corporate Check. Additional Fees are listed below.

All airport ID badge holders who have ground vehicle operator (GVO) requirements (green, red or blue badge) on the airfield can take the applicable movement or non-movement GVO training via Elearning from any location of their choice.
