Pittsburgh, PA—The Air Cargo Task Force will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 8256 University Blvd. Coraopolis, PA 15108.

This meeting is for anyone involved in shipping goods in or out of the Pittsburgh region. The Allegheny County Airport Authority and Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato formed the Air Cargo Task Force to keep the cargo community informed of new developments and to provide networking to advance cargo initiatives for the region.

Penrod on his trip to China and meetings with cargo airlines; a discussion from Gary Lupinacci, DHS, Assistant Branch Chief, Certified Cargo Screening Program and Karen Avestruz from World Wide Flight Services about the new cargo security screening procedures; and an introduction to the new Pittsburgh U.S. Customs Port Director Joseph Klaus.
