'People Mover' Train Tunnel Improvements at PIT

October 1 to 5
PITTSBURGH, PA – Beginning Monday, October 1, the Allegheny County Airport Authority will continue enhancements to the two “people mover” train tunnels at Pittsburgh International Airport. These trains located past the security check point, transport air travelers to the Airside terminal, AIRMALL and airline gates.
These improvements include replacement of wallboard in the train tunnels between the Landside and Airside Terminals
Due to these improvements, there will be one train operating from Monday, October 1 to Friday, October 5.
Operating one train may impact the traveling public.
The Allegheny County Airport Authority is advising passengers to allow a little extra time for checking in and getting to their gates. Airport employees who work in the Airside Terminal should also allow extra time.
