PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CUSTOMER APPRECIATION SET FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 12
PITTSBURGH, PA (April 11, 2011) – Beginning this week, many people will be catching flights for spring travel. The Allegheny County Airport Authority and AIRMALL Pittsburgh are planning a great day for our customers.
From 10 am to 3 pm, Thursday April 12, travelers can enjoy a prize wheel, free cookies and live music in the Airside Terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport. It is the airport’s way to thank passengers for flying at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Almost every shop, restaurant and eatery is offering a great special or discount. Many of them have also donated great prizes to the prize wheel.
The Airport Ambassadors will be cruising the concourses on the AIRMALL Shopping Shuttle, visiting gate areas and handing out travel trinkets to people waiting to depart.
“We have activities planned and hope travelers come early to take advantage of some of the great shop specials. So if you are flying out on Thursday morning come early and spend some time shopping, spin the prize wheel and enjoy the entertainment,” said Bradley D. Penrod, Executive Director/CEO, Allegheny County Airport Authority.
The purpose of this outreach is to promote customer service and Pittsburgh International Airport’s N.I.C.E. customer service program. The Airport Authority has trained hundreds of employees in N.I.C.E. – Neutralizing Irritations Customers Experience, a program designed to solve customer problems. Employees are recognized and success stories are published on a website: http://humanresiliency.com/resiliency/pit/
