CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: ROAD REPAIRS CONTINUE AT PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

PITTSBURGH, PA (July 11, 2007) – The Allegheny County Airport Authority announced that beginning Monday, July 16, motorists to Pittsburgh International Airport will experience lane restrictions at the airport’s entrance from Route 60. The entrance to Pittsburgh International Airport will be reduced to one lane due to concrete repair work on the roadway. The lane restriction will begin at 9 am, Monday, July 16 and will be in effect for about two weeks.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time to get to the airport. Drivers should be alert to changes, observe reduced speed limits and exercise caution around the construction areas. This is part of an airport roadway improvement program that will be completed on or about November 19, 2007.
