The Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) employs 465 people to operate and maintain Pittsburgh International and the Allegheny County airports.
The ACAA does not recruit for airlines, tenants, concessionaires or contractors at airport facilities. For example, security checkpoint workers and airline reservation representatives are not hired through the Authority.

Under the direct supervision of the Lead Airline Services Technician as well as under the general supervision of Airline Services supervisory and management staff, this position involves the operating and maintaining of heavy equipment at the Pittsburgh International Airport, Airline Services department. This position also requires coordination with the Heavy Equipment Supervisor located at Field Maintenance, specifically regarding the maintenance of and use of any individual pieces of ACAA heavy equipment. This position also requires the Equipment Operator to work as a member of a composite crew in conjunction with multiple trade groups in Airline Services.
