ACAA Names Stephanie Saracco, A.A.E., Chief Operating Officer

ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY NAMES STEPHANIE SARACCO, A.A.E., CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
PITTSBURGH, PA (April 11, 2008) – The Allegheny County Airport Authority has named Stephanie Saracco, A.A.E., as Chief Operating Officer. Stephanie has been involved in aviation at Allegheny County Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport for more than 20 years.
Stephanie held the position of Director of General Aviation Facilities at the Allegheny County Airport, West Mifflin, Pa., since 2001. As Director, she managed the operating budget, overseeing capital projects and acting as the representative of airport administration for the airport tenants and users. Additionally, she oversaw the construction of 18 new T-hangars at Allegheny County Airport (AGC).
Prior to working at AGC, Stephanie worked in Operations at Pittsburgh International Airport for 16 years. While she worked at the airport she developed the airfield driver´s training program. She also implemented the wildlife program and acted as the liaison between the Allegheny County Airport Authority and the USDA Wildlife Services.
A resident of Upper St. Clair, PA, Stephanie has been a licensed FAA private pilot since 1983. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and an Associate of Science degree in Aviation Management from Salem College, Salem, WV. Stephanie, an accredited member of American Association of Airport Executives, is currently enrolled in a Masters Program at Geneva College. She is also a member of the Pittsburgh Aero Club.
The Allegheny County Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport are managed and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority.
