ACAA CEO Brad Penrod Elected to ACI-NA 2010 Board of Directors
November 13, 2009 ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY CEO BRAD PENROD ELECTED TO ACI-NA 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
PITTSBURGH, PA (November 13,2009)—Allegheny County Airport Authority Executive Director and CEO Bradley D. Penrod was elected by associates of Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) as a new member to its Board of Directors for 2010, effective immediately.
Penrod was among five new board members announced during the ACI-NA Annual General Membership Business Meeting on October 14, 2009 in Austin, Texas. All members will serve three year terms.
“ACI-NA is a leader for professional development for airport leaders and managers and I am honored to be a part of the organization,” stated Penrod.
The mission of Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) is to advocate policies and provide services that strengthen the ability of air carrier airports to serve their passengers, customers and communities. ACI-NA represents local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada. ACI-NA member airports enplane more than 95 percent of the domestic and virtually all the international airline passenger and cargo traffic in North America. Nearly 400 aviation-related businesses are also members of the association, which is the largest of the five worldwide regions of Airports Council International.
