- Look for development to get underway at the Clinton Industrial Park. We are planning a ground breaking ceremony for Tuesday, January 24, 2006.
- Allegheny County Airport will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in a two day Air Fare on September 9 and 10, 2006.
- AIRMALL Projects:
- Brighton Collectibles is coming to the AIRMALL. The shop sells distinctive and popular ladies accessories.
- The AIRMALL is also adding Zona Mexicana, a casual sit down Mexican restaurant and bar.
- We will also be remodeling TGI Fridays with the new design that Fridays is using in all of its new restaurants.
- The Airport Authority has specific goals to work towards in the New Year. They include:
- To develop direct international air service to Europe for the southwestern Pennsylvania region.
- To maintain direct non-stop air service to the Pittsburgh region's top 40 business markets
- To improve customer service and the overall airport experience for air travelers
- To continue development of airport properties for aviation and non-aviation related projects to increase economic development in the airport corridor.
